Botanical body oils have a reputation for being heavy or greasy. The right ones are neither — they're light, fast-absorbing, and designed to leave skin looking luminous rather than slick.
Jojoba is a favorite because it's a wax ester that feels remarkably close to skin's own texture, so it absorbs cleanly. Rosehip brings a silky, lightweight glow. Together they make an oil that feels like a finishing layer, not a coating.
Use them on damp skin, and use less than you think — three or four drops, warmed between the palms and pressed on. Oil is the last step in any ritual: the seal that holds your cream's softness and carries your scent through the evening.
